T O P I C R E V I E WYangOne of the girls in class at college is a Gemini had a boyfriend(who,by the way,was a Sag).Another girl asked if she had a boyfriend and she answered no,I broke up with him a month ago.Anyway the 2nd girl asked why and she replied "I was just BORED with him, that is all" and the other girl was shocked. But afterwards the girl who asked the 1st girl said that all her Gemini friends did the same,in other words broke up their relationship because they were bored with their partner.NOW I want to know is are most Gemini girls fickle like that when it comes to relationships? Will I expect that when I am involved with one? Even though I am Libra and Libra and Gemini are suppose to be so compatible. Confused!YinNow I'm not a Gemini to answer your question here but in my personal observations I have seen many Gemini-Libra realtionships that do work. I've seen many Gemini girls and guys head over heels for Libras and the other way around. To me (as a Sag with Water Rising) Gemini guys are generally more slippery than Libras but then Libras can never decide what they want. I have more bitter experience with Libras than with any other sign. Anyway, if you like that girl, just go for her, Yang In the end it doesn't really matter what her sign and planetary positions are, right ------------------"Know thyself" Inscribed on the temple of Apollo at DelphiYang To The Topastro junkieAnd it just may SEEM as if Gemini's dump a lot because they are constantly in the social mix, dating and meeting new people, etc.sthenriGeminis respect you if you are not clingy, and have your own life. Mercury is intellectual and not focused on emotional states. Emotional states do not propel Geminis from one place to another, at least early in life. Later Geminis do become more emotional, but early on Geminis like to explore the world, and taste and test everything. It's good to approach your Gemini girl as a friend at first so she can know you, once she gets used to you, she will want to get you interested in her life. As long as you have your own interests, it ought to work out.Personally, I am dating a Gemini and so I have some experience right now in this, it may seem logical to around your girlfriend a lot, but if she is a Gemini, some space is needed to maintain the respect you have for each other.NatashaTaurusproxiemeI'm not a Gemini, but my step-sis is.She's dumped many, many (manymanymany) guys after anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months because she "just got bored with them" (her words exactly). Most of them waited on her hand and foot and treated her like a princess. But - and this is a big but - she is now completely head over heels in love with a Libra guy. They've been going out for a couple of years now, and he's even gotten this uber-fickle chick thinking and talking more long-term than that.YangAHHH,Proxieme you have just made my day.And you know I am a Libra purplezenDon't worry yang, not all gemini's are like that. My friend is a "one man woman" and also a I guess it all depends on the person and their other signs too. YangThanx Purplezen.I guess it is her other signs rather than her because she is a quiet,no problem YET a great person to talk to.I alsways talk to her.Isn't it a strange trait for a Gemini to be quiet?Or am I wrong? purplezenMy friend the gemini is a real jabberjaw except for when she is tired, lol. I guess it all depends on the person though. TuesdayNot necessarily Yang. I think that is a stereotype. There are quiet Geminis. The intelligence and mental activity is still there for them but it is directed inward. I prefer to observe than to contribute. In order to get my mouth running I have to be comfortable with who I'm talking to, usually a close friend.gemI can only speak for myself. I am, as other people have commented, a very gemini gemini.I am chatty, analytical, excitable, and I do need constant entertainment and change and I get bored if I don't get variety.HOWEVER- I am also well up for a committed relationship, like the one I've been in now for 2 years for example, and I've only just turned 21. (Maybe I'm searching for my twin?)I think Gemini's can be just as committed and faithful, so don't worry!Twin LadySpeaking as a Gemini female myself:I for one, have never dumped someone because I was "bored" with them. I have dumped for being mistreated, I have dumped for being betrayed...but not because the person bored me. If they were "boring" I doubt I would have become interested in the first place. Then again...I have Venus in Taurus (also Moon in Scorpio)...so where a relationship is concerned, it's fairly easy for me to stay interested, if the person I'm with has at least nominal skills in communication, lol. I do not deny enjoying lots of intellectual stimulation, that's fine; but for me and the "long haul" what matters most is someone who is kind, caring, and not afraid to share (attach any and all you want to that word, lol).Hope that helps.PS: I know a Gemini/Libra couple (he's the Gem, she the Libra) who have been married many years. I also think of Gemini Paul McCartney and his LONG marriage to Libra Linda...and just how devastated he was when she passed. Don't underestimate Gemini's ability to love deeply and indefinately. Good Luck!! deltalibras are definitely the ones to make fickle gems settle down! proxieme its no wonder your stepsis is finally thinking long term
